Swinging between 300KB/s to 10MB/s, while steam will consistently pull 15MB/s to 50MB/s and Epic seems to often do even better, consistently being over 25MB/s. Step 2 is variable in how fast it goes, much more variable then Steam or Epic. It's maxing out one of my cpu cores but leaving the rest untouched, and is barely touching the speed of my NVMe SSD. Step 1 takes the same time no matter what size the update is. It also does all this concurrent to it downloading. It may keep duplicates of data but it can do so during the update by moving current, and then creating a new while applying the update. Applying a say 100mb update in steam, it downloads 100mb, then applies the update.
